Absolutely not.

Now, keep in mind that not everything is completely black and white. Say, for example, my girlfriend and I already sexually active and are drinking and having a nice time and get ‘completely wasted,’ I don’t see any harm in that because there’s already an established history. We’ve been sleeping together before and thus I think it’s pretty safe to say that, whether we were drinking or not that evening, sex is acceptable.

Or, let’s say that I’m sexually active with someone but we aren’t in a relationship. We’re at a party with friends and head upstairs to go to sleep for the night and we decide to have sex. Once again I think that’s acceptable because there’s already an established history.

In a situation where I was speaking to a woman about having sex with her and it was made clear that she was all for it but we hadn’t yet had the opporunity to while sober, I wouldn’t sleep with her if she was ‘completely wasted.’ Talking about something =/= actually willing to go through with it.

TL;DR:

In my mind there has to be an established sober history of sexual encounters before I would be comfortable sleeping with someone who was intoxicated.
