- Me: Some kid pulled his tooth out with a rocket.
- Casey: Yeah but I bet he didn't have bubbles.
at the end of the day, it is you that has to look back at the person in the mirror.
In just under one week my life will be changed completely. I’ll be shedding the skin of my past and embracing the journey into the future. Thankfully I’m not doing it alone. I have my entire family, an amazing girlfriend, more than a handful of friends, and even strangers who are all there for me. I couldn’t ask for a better group of people to surround myself with, and for that, I’m eternally grateful. Without them I could have never grown into the person I am today.
This new chapter of my life is probably going to be the roughest and most difficult portion. It’s going to test me both physically and mentally. It’s going to rip me apart inside. Luckily for me I’ve got something worth fighting for. Something worth the blood, sweat, and tears. Something worth building a future for.
It’s not going to be easy, the future I want. I know I’m going to have to work incredibly hard to reach my goals. “The sky is the limit.” Well that’s a shame, because I’m aiming for the stars. I’m aiming to prove to myself that no feat is impossible. To become great. Even if I miss, I know I’ll have accomplished something. I’ll know I’ve made something of myself. At the end of the night, that’s all that matters.
Just tell them how you feel. Is anyone going to die?
No.
But one day, you will.
Would you like to do that before or after you tell them?
